La Merced is a city that is located at an altitude of 700 m above sea level. It’s approximately four and a half hours from Huancayo by road, where one can enjoy amazing views and a remarkable change in scenery from the Andes into the jungle.

On this tour our volunteers enjoy the incredible diversity in the local wildlife and a humid and warm climate. The tour lasts three days and two nights. Volunteers stay in a house by the river and enjoy a welcoming bonfire, trekking, traditional jungle food, waterfalls, adventure sports, nightclub/bar, fruit harvests and a visit to one of the jungle tribes.
